Rusty Clevenger Artist. He was born Rusty Lee Clevenger in Medora, Illinois, on February 18th, 1986, to parents Jerry and Marilyn Clevenger. Clevenger graduated from Southwestern High School in Piasa Illinois and after graduation attended Blackburn College in Carlinville Illinois in 2004 for Art Education. Clevenger moved to Chicago Illinois on August 26 of 2006 to attend the Art Institute of Chicago to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts Studio Degree with an emphasis in photography. Clevenger became friends with Nikki Finn, also a student at the School of the Art institute of Chicago. Clevenger soon was roped into a documentation project of his own experiences coming out in the small farm community of Medora, Illinois. Rusty Clevenger can be described as creative, quiet, compassionate, caring, and unique. |
